Man oh man...Gans better, better not disappoint me. The trailer looks creepy as all hell and back though. I didn't think the game was quite as creepy as everyone made it out to be, but it was pretty cool, and this might be a really good rendition of it. I can't wait personally.

Yeah, the trailer looks creepy & good...I just hope I'm not disappointed (yet again). I agree with you on the game - personally, I thought Fatal Frame was creepier than Silent Hill! I didn't really get what the big deal was about SH.

Fatal Frame was pretty creepy, but the fighting sequences with the camera got on my nerves. Did you ever play the second one? With the twins? My friend Joe almost had a heart attack playing that game.
Now that I think about it, a FF movie was announced last year, but there hasn't been any news about it in a while. That could be a creepy movie too.

Fatal Frame 2: The Crimson Butterfly was indeed creepy as all hell. Every last element in the game was geared to be creepy, even the sound made when hitting pause was a shrill chime. The doors: creepy. The windows: creepy. The twin sister with the hurt leg that could speak in a way that would make Satan himself cringe: creepy.
It's a fun game to play, especially if you have a dark room, surround sound, and friends to experience the game with you. For what it's worth, the first Fatal Frame game was pretty enjoyable too. But it didn't actually result in strange dreams as the second one did for me.
So as to stay on topic, did the Silent Hill movie do the games any justice?

Holy crap dude! Good to see you back! Where the hell have you been???
Actually, I haven't been able to see the damn Silent Hill movie yet.
School and money and such have kept me away from the theater, which really sucks cause there is some neat stuff out now I want to see...mainly this flick and "An American Haunting."
As soon as I get to see it I'll update you.

Though no visual elements are included from Silent Hill 4, a game in the series released after the film,
Silent Hill Homecoming, in turn incorporated some elements of the film. The monsters in the game are not really monsters, but rather a mockery of human beings
