A group of people get invited to a screening of a movie at the new Metropol, a theater noone has heard of. One of the girls puts on a mysterious mask that's sitting in the lobby, and gets nicked by it as she takes it off. Everyone goes in to watch the movie. The girl's wound starts bleeding, and she goes to the bathroom to take a look at it. She starts to transform into...something else!!! Dum dum dum!
*Cough* sorry. Anyway, her friend and co-worker goes to check on her, and ends up getting scratched by the girl's razor sharp fingernails. Working her way back to the actual theater, she falls through the screen, stopping the movie. As she starts to turn herself, the people that were watching the movie notice that what was happening on the screen is very close to what is happening in front of their eyes. People start getting scratched and bitten, turning into demons. Those who are left need to find a way out, for the front entrance has been mysteriously blocked off by a brick wall.
Meanwhile, a group of punks get into trouble with the police. They sneak into the movie theater, while a demon sneaks out and attacks the police officers.
Will anyone survive? Or will the demons take control of the movie theater, and charge people ridiculously high ticket and snack prices? Go to your closest cinema to find the answer! Scary!!!!!

Man o' man, where do I begin with this gem?! Best believe it's damn worthy of the 9.5. Just not quite a 10. Trivia note: yeah this is the movie that scared the holy bjabbers outta me when I was like 7 years old *I think?* Laugh if ya want, but the idea of monsters playing a deadly game of "Manhunt" and frothing at the mouth with eyes that light up.* Anywho, this film if you can get it and call it that, which I PROUDLY own, is chock full o' greatness. Foaming demons, random and funny-as-hell acting/dubbing... and, of course, a big bunch o'violence *done very well I may add* And can't forget about the few very lovely female leads *Natasha Hovey rules! oh yeah, can't forget the redhead usher too* If you're lookin' for this movie to make sense then look elsewhere. Set in Berlin, the plot is simple: Movie theater + unsuspecting patrons + demons + a Tony the pimp= GOOD STUFF!! Well, add that and the OVERLY convienent theater of the future where everything is at your fingertips; Watch, and you'll see what I mean. The soundtrack in itself is phat as hell, period. I mean, hell can ya REALLY go wrong with Rick Springfield and Motley Crue? Well, don't wanna say much more and give too much of this blessing away, and it is as such. However, I suggest you try not to take this too seriously; you do, you lose, Fo' shizzle. Argento, Bava, and Sovai gets 'NUFF respect!

If this isn't in your movie arsenal it should be. This and it's sequel (Demons 2) are well worth it. Time and time again providing plenty of cheese, potatoes, and gravy. Basically you have Tony the Pimp, a bunch of psycho zombies, and a unrealistic twist around every corner. The music was great and definitely adds to the overall experience. The acting is fairly top notch as well.
So, if you have seen this movie and didn't like it, leave and don't come back. If you haven't seen this movie, leave and don't come back until you have.

Tony the Pimp. Slobbering crazy ass demons. Punkers that have nothing to do with anything. The Apocalyptic ending. Gore galore, insanity, random deus ex machina helicopters, motorcycle sequences, ridiculous dialogue.
You know what's next, sing it with me:
These are a few of my favorite things!
Ahhh...like a fine wine, repeat viewings of this remarkable film makes me warm inside and a little drunk. This movie is the epitome of this website; it's random, it's crazy, it's cheesy, it's a real movie plus it makes you laugh at how ridiculous it is.
I remember the first time we watched this, I basically sat in disbelief for the time it was on. Immediately after it was finished, I wanted to see it again. It's that good.
The only thing that brings it down a little is the very, very end, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense...but, overall, the movie as a whole makes no sense, so I can't give it too much crap for that.
This is one you really have to experience to understand. It's a treat the whole way through, and it's one that you will insist on repeat viewings. Good for a cheesy night, a rainy afternoon, or during your workday at lunch sipping on a dark lager at Taco Mac while chatting with friends about the latest office gossip. What? Just buy the movie!
Oh, and if you do go into Taco Mac and they actually play the movie on the TV's...call me first!
